Daniel Sturridge is set to undergo a medical at Liverpool tomorrow ahead of his proposed move to Anfield, according to reports.

Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge will undergo a medical tomorrow ahead of his proposed move to Liverpool, according to reports.

Sturridge has been linked with a move to Anfield for much of the season having seen his opportunities at Stamford Bridge limited.

The 23-year-old is thought to be top of Liverpool's list of transfer targets alongside Blackpool's Thomas Ince, and a deal for the former could be completed before the window opens.

Sturridge joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2009, scoring 24 goals in 96 appearances for the club during his time there, as well as eight goals in 12 games during a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.

Sturridge has also made four appearances for England, but is yet to score for his country.
