Dejan Lazarevic scored a last-minute free kick to earn Chievo a 1-1 draw against Atalanta BC in Serie A this afternoon.
The visitors created the better chances early on, with Ezequiel Schelotto and Alberto Paloschi both testing the Atalanta keeper.

It was Atalanta who nearly took the lead at the end of the first half, though, as Daniele Baselli smashed his effort wide after controlling a corner at the back post.
Following a goalless first 45 minutes, Mauricio Pinilla threatened for the hosts with a drive that went just inches wide of the goal.
With 18 minutes, left Atalanta broke the deadlock as Davide Zappacosta fired a strike from long range into the bottom corner.
Despite a red card for Gianpaolo Bellini, it seemed as if the hosts would hold on to claim the three points, but Lazarevic stepped up to curl a free kick into the corner in the final minute and salvage a point for Chievo.
