Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has hailed the heroics of goalkeeper Julian Speroni following Friday's 1-0 win at Derby County in the Championship.
The Argentine saved an 86th-minute penalty from Conor Sammon at Pride Park as Yannick Bolasie's goal earned a first away victory of 2013 for the Eagles.
"I think he's a wonderful person," Holloway told Sky Sports News. "I think he epitomises the club - we're fresh, we're hungry, we want to do it. He's been player of the year three times in a row so he's definitely a fans' favourite, and he was absolutely outstanding.
"It's nice to get that monkey off your back and it took a marvellous save from our goalie - I thought he was inspired."
The win has moved Palace to within two points of the automatic promotion places.
