Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway has admitted that he was "disappointed" with his side's defending in their 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Palace allowed Leroy Lita space and time in the penalty area to head past Julian Speroni to give the Owls the three points.
Holloway told the club's official website: "It wasn't a thriller but we were solid and came close to nicking it. They defended well but we just couldn't get the goal back.
"I was disappointed with the ball in for the goal - we were better in the second half and we looked likely to score."
The defeat leaves Palace fourth in the Championship, four points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
