Leeds United are reportedly one of four clubs who are willing to negotiate a January deal for Burnley playmaker Mike Tresor.
In September 2023, when the Clarets were in the Premier League, they completed a season-long loan deal for the Genk man that would a permanent arrangement at the end of the season.
However, as well as the Belgium international failing to contribute a goal or assist in 589 minutes of football, Burnley were relegated back to the Championship having agreed to pay €18m (£15.21m).
Tresor has since missed the first half of this season and only made one 33-minute outing against Reading in the FA Cup, that theoretically putting him back in contention for a place in Scott Parker's squad.
Nevertheless, as per Voetbal Nieuws, the 25-year-old is ready to push for a transfer away from Turf Moor.

Four clubs monitoring Tresor?
The report suggests that Burnley are happy to part ways with Tresor as they bid to recoup some of the money that they have previously committed on the player.
Leeds - as well as Ajax, Anderlecht and Gent - are said to be interested in holding negotiations with their Burnley counterparts.
With Burnley having already overseen three incomings since the start of the January transfer window, there is a desire to bolster their coffers by parting ways with unwanted squad players.
Despite that recent appearance in the FA Cup, Tresor is yet to feature in a Championship squad, emphasising that Burnley and Parker have moved on without him.

Who are the favourites?
Ajax are allegedly viewed as Tresor's preferred destination, providing that they can agree a deal with Burnley that suits all parties.
Burnley may be open to agreeing to a loan deal if it comes with the obligation to buy, there likely to be a reluctance to commit to a fee close to the £15m that his current employers will be looking to generate based on their previous outgoing.
Tresor is no stranger to plying his trade in the Eredivisie having contributed nine goals and 14 assists across 54 games for Willem II earlier in his career.
Although Leeds will count themselves as outsiders to Ajax, they can offer Tresor a fresh opportunity to impress in English football, yet Burnley may be against strengthening a Championship promotion rival.
