Crystal Palace are believed to be lining up a bid for Everton striker Oumar Niasse this month after the Toffees signed Cenk Tosun from Besiktas.

Senegal international Niasse was the subject of a failed move to Selhurst Park in the summer, and The Mirror reports that the South London outfit are expected to make a renewed offer for the player.

The newspaper says that the arrival of Tosun from Turkey, which could offer a solution to Everton's problems up front, will allow Sam Allardyce to finance the move this month.

Niasse moved to Goodison Park from Hull City last season and has often been employed interchangeably with Dominic Calvert-Lewin up front for Everton.

The 27-year-old became the first player in the Premier League to be banned for diving after Everton's 2-2 draw with Palace in November.
