Crystal Palace have reportedly joined Leicester City in the race for AC Milan centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic.
The 23-year-old has been on the fringes of the Rossoneri first team this term, managing just nine starts in the top flight of Italian football.
Palace are on the hunt for a top-tier defender during the final knockings of the winter window despite a glorious victory at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Following an uneventful first period at the Theatre of Dreams, Oliver Glasner's troops struck twice to snatch all three points, with Jean-Philippe Mateta bagging a brace.
As a result, Palace have leapfrogged Man United into 12th position in the Premier League standings, waving goodbye to any faint worries of a relegation battle this term.

Crystal Palace in AC Milan talks over Pavlovic?
According to The Sun, a Premier League outfit has joined Leicester in the hunt for Pavlovic before the conclusion of the winter trading point.
The report claims that Crystal Palace have entered talks with AC Milan over the signing of the 23-year-old, who only moved to the Italian giants in July.
It is understood that the Eagles are willing to do a £25m deal for Pavlovic, with the defender supposedly open to a Premier League switch.
Consequently, it is unlikely that Leicester will capture the talent, who is said to be put off a switch to the East Midlands by the prospect of a relegation scrap.
The Foxes are openly in the market for defensive reinforcements, with Ruud van Nistelrooy's men losing 4-0 at Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Palace solving their biggest problem
With there only hours left of the winter transfer window, Crystal Palace are pushing on with business in order to solve their biggest problem.
Playing a back-three formation, the Eagles are reliant on having a host of centre-back options available at all times, allowing Glasner to rotate appropriately.
Palace's defensive options have been depleted so far in 2025, with Chadi Riad suffering an injury and loanee Trevoh Chalobah being recalled by Chelsea.
