Steve Parish: 'Crystal Palace ready to bring in more new players'

Steve Parish hopes that he will have some "good news" for Crystal Palace supporters on the transfer front in the coming days.

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has admitted that new manager Neil Warnock has "plenty more work to do" before the transfer window closes.

Warnock made a surprise return to Selhurst Park yesterday, taking over from Tony Pulis who left the club less than 48 hours before the new season began.

Now that a search for a new boss is over, the Eagles have four days remaining to complete their transfer business.

"There's plenty more work to do," Parish told reporters. "We've got the transfer window closing on Monday and I think he'd want to bring a few in, so hopefully we've got some more good news for supporters in the next few days."

Palace have failed to register a point so far in the Premier League this season following defeats against Arsenal and West Ham United in their opening two games.
