Port Vale hoping to extend loan of Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss

Port Vale manager Rob Page admits that they are in discussions with Crystal Palace over extending the loan of youngster Ryan Inniss.

League One outfit Port Vale have expressed their interest in extending their loan arrangement with Crystal Palace for youngster Ryan Inniss.

The Valiants have conceded just one goal in four games since the 19-year-old defender joined on February 12, but his month-long youth loan expires next week.

Manager Rob Page told BBC Sport: "We've been in discussions. [Inniss] was definitely one we wanted to keep hold of.

"He's fitted straight in. He's come in and had an instant impact. He's great to have around the place."

Inniss also spent time on loan at Yeovil Town earlier this season.
