Dinamo Moscow 5-0 Dundee United

Dundee United are thrashed 5-0 by Russian giants Dinamo Moscow to ensure an early exit from the Europa League.

Dundee United endured a European night to forget as they were thrashed 5-0 by Dinamo Moscow in the second leg of their Europa League tie.

Hopes were high for United after a 2-2 draw at Tannadice last week, but pre-match optimism was extinguished early on.

Igor Semshov opened the scoring for Dinamo after just two minutes, drilling home from close range.

A header from Alexander Kokorin followed by a Artur Yusupov strike had the tie effectively finished before half-time.

Aleksandr Sapeta scored a late brace, including a spectacular effort from range, to confirm an early end to United's European adventure this season.
