Darren Bent starts up front for England against Montenegro.

Aston Villa striker Darren Bent will start up front for England in their Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro.

It had been reported that Fulham forward Bobby Zamora would partner Wayne Rooney in attack, but Capello has instead opted for the former Charlton and Tottenham Hotspur hitman.

Elsewhere, Manchester United youngster Phil Jones starts at right-back, while Gary Cahill begins alongside John Terry in central defence.

Theo Walcott and Ashley Young will operate the flanks, with Gareth Barry and Scott Parker anchoring the midfield.
