Samuel Eto'o, Sylvain Distin available for Everton against Wolfsburg

Everton manager Roberto Martinez confirms that Samuel Eto'o and Sylvain Distin have both returned to fitness ahead of Thursday's Europa League opener against Wolfsburg.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Samuel Eto'o and Sylvain Distin are both fit for Thursday's Europa League opener at home to Wolfsburg.

Eto'o missed Saturday's 2-0 win at West Bromwich Albion with a groin problem, while Distin was forced to sit out the match with a dead leg.

Meanwhile, Bryan Oviedo, Arouna Kone and Tony Hibbert are all expected to be back in action in the coming weeks.

"Samuel Eto'o and Sylvain Distin will be back for Thursday plus the 18 players we had on Saturday," Martinez is quoted as saying by the club's official website.

The Toffees continue their Premier League campaign on Sunday when they host Crystal Palace.
