David Moyes says that his contract issue could be resolved in "five minutes".

Everton manager David Moyes has claimed that his contract talks could be sorted out in "five minutes" but admitted that he is yet to discuss anything with chairman Bill Kenwright.

Moyes is out of contract next summer but the Blues boss told Goals on Sunday that it is an issue that can be resolved swiftly.

"I have a great relationship with Bill," said Moyes. "We'll get round the table to talk about the contract in time. He trusts me and I trust him, we can do it in five minutes when we sit down.

"At the moment I just want the focus on the team."

Everton were beaten 2-1 at Reading on Saturday.
