Everton agree a deal to sign Club Brugge midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe on a season-long loan.

Club Brugge midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe is poised to join Everton on a season-long loan.

A deal to bring the powerful 23-year-old to Goodison Park was agreed moments before last night's 11pm transfer deadline.

All relevant paperwork has been submitted to the Premier League and the FA. FIFA are expected to rubber stamp the move early next week.

Odjidja-Ofoe, who previously had spells at Gent, Anderlecht and Hamburg, has been capped three times by Belgium at senior international level.

The Toffees will have an option to buy the player on a permanent deal at the end of his loan stay.
