Everton want to beat Arsenal to the signature of Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha this summer, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly determined to beat Arsenal to the signature of Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha in this summer's transfer window.

Zaha is said to have told Palace that he wants to leave the club ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move, although it has been widely reported that the Gunners are struggling to agree a fee with the Eagles.

According to the Evening Standard, Everton are also firmly in the running to sign the 26-year-old, who scored 10 times and provided 10 assists for Roy Hodgson's side during the 2018-19 Premier League season.

The Toffees have already signed three new players in this summer's transfer window, with Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph and Jonas Lossl all arriving on permanent deals.

Ademola Lookman is said to be nearing a move to RB Leipzig, though, which would boost the club's transfer kitty ahead of a potential swoop for Zaha.
