Everton are willing to entertain offers for Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes in the current market, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly willing to entertain offers for Andre Gomes in the current market.

The 28-year-old spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Goodison Park from Barcelona before completing a permanent move to the Toffees in July 2019.

Gomes has scored once and provided five assists in 81 appearances for Everton and still has three years left to run on his contract with the Merseyside giants.

However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Rafael Benitez's side are open to offers for the Portugal international and 'the right offer' would 'tempt the Blues' into selling him this summer.

The report claims that Everton want to sign another central midfielder in the current market, and Gomes's exit would make room in the squad for a 'quality' addition.

The Portuguese, who played for Benfica and Valencia ahead of a switch to Barcelona in 2016, made 32 appearances for the Toffees during the 2020-21 season.
