Report: Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic interests Everton

Everton reportedly look to Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic as a potential replacement for Chelsea target John Stones.

Everton are reportedly lining up a move for Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

The Toffees are looking to hold on to young English defender John Stones but according to reports, manager Roberto Martinez sees the 24-year-old as an ideal replacement should Stones join Chelsea.

According to talkSPORT, the Austrian international impressed Martinez last season as he helped his Kiev side eliminate Everton from the Europa League.

It is believed that a fee of around £8m would be needed to tempt Dynamo Kiev to sell Dragovic, who has been linked to Arsenal and West Ham United in the past.

SportItalia suggests that Dragovic is keen on a move to the Premier League, yet Martinez may have to move quickly as the Ukrainian football season is already underway.
