Pascal Dupraz: 'Do or die for Evian TG'

Evian TG manager Pascal Dupraz says to his players that it's now "do or die" time following their lacklustre start to the Ligue 1 campaign.

Evian TG manager Pascal Dupraz has told his players that they must treat their next Ligue 1 fixture as "do or die" following their poor start to the season.

Evian have lost five games from their first six of the domestic campaign, with Dupraz saying that he wants to continue with his mission at the club despite some opposition following their lacklustre start.

"The cold hard fact is that we've now lost five matches out of six. But in terms of how we've played, it's ok," Dupraz told reporters.

"My players leave here with regrets tonight, and there are two solutions: either the club let the coach go or we pull together and tell ourselves that the next match is do or die.

"We need to play the same way but simply with more rigour. The wind is blowing against us right now, it must be admitted. I will continue, as that's my mission."

Evian's latest setback saw them lose out 2-1 away from home against second-placed Bordeaux on Friday night.
