Fenerbahce confirm Diego Ribas talks

Fenerbahce confirm that they are in talks with Diego Ribas's representatives over a move for the Brazilian, who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid from Wolfsburg.

Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have revealed that they are in talks with Diego Ribas's representatives over a move for the Brazilian.

Diego is currently contracted to German club Wolfsburg, but has spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Atletico Madrid.

His contract with the Bundesliga outfit will expire at the end of next month, however, making him available on a free transfer this summer.

"Talks have been opened with Diego Ribas's representatives regarding signing for Fenerbahce," said a statement on the club's official website.

A number of European clubs are believed to be monitoring proceedings.
