France coach Didier Deschamps has praised the performance of Dimitri Payet in Les Bleus' international friendly win over the Netherlands.
West Ham United midfielder Payet played all 90 minutes at the Amsterdam ArenA on Friday as France came out on top 3-2.
He was involved in Blaise Matuidi's 88th-minute winner and also went close to his second international goal by hitting the post on the hour mark.
Speaking after the contest, Deschamps told reporters: "Every time [Payet] touched the ball, he made something happen. He has enormous qualities and made a massive effort. He is on top form."
It was Payet's first international appearance since June last year, and the coach's words suggest that he is in strong contention to be part of Les Bleus' squad for this summer's Euro 2016 finals on home soil.
