Tony Gale predicts Fulham survival

Former Fulham defender Tony Gale is confident that the club will stay in the Premier League.

Former Fulham defender Tony Gale has predicted that the club will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

The Cottagers are currently four points from safety at the bottom of the table following a run of four consecutive defeats.

"I'm still standing by my prediction that Fulham will stay up this season," he told the club's official website.

"The Premier League table doesn't make good reading right now but it's so important to stay positive.

"We've got four tough league games coming up but if we can still be in touch after that, the last six fixtures really play in our favour."

Fulham return to action tonight when they host Sheffield United in an FA Cup fourth-round replay.
