Fulham 0-5 Manchester United

Manchester United keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City with a 5-0 win at Fulham.

Manchester United have kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City with a 5-0 win at Fulham.

The visitors took the lead after only five minutes when Danny Welbeck was on hand to turn in Nani's cross.

During a dominant first half for the Red Devils, the Portuguese winger doubled his side's lead on 28 minutes when his glancing header found the net from Ryan Giggs' assist.

It was 3-0 at the break thanks to Giggs's effort, which deflected in off Philippe Senderos.

The hosts were much better in the second half with chances for Clint Dempsey, Moussa Dembele and John Arne Riise.

The win was sealed in the dying minutes when Wayne Rooney fired in from 30 yards.

Substitute Dimitar Berbatov capped the win a minute later with a cute flick from Nani's pass.
