Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live text coverage of Eintracht Frankfurt's Bundesliga clash with Greuther Furth at the Commerzbank-Arena.

Both sides were promoted to the German top flight last season, however they are already 13 points apart this term after making very different starts.

Frankfurt are third in the table and unbeaten at home, while Furth are rock bottom and winless in seven.

In-form Frankfurt forward Alexander Meier will be looking to continue his fine goalscoring run of four goals in as many games.

On balance, the hosts are probably just about worthy of their narrow lead. Meier fired them in front after 33 seconds and, although Furth then dominated the possession for a 15-20-minute spell, Frankfurt's dynamic front two have looked too hot to handle and could have easily doubled the lead on three occasions.

The players return from the dressing rooms for the second half, as heavy rain begins to fall in Frankfurt.
