Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale congratulates Hartlepool United after seeing them thrash his side 3-0 at St James Park.

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has congratulated Hartlepool United after seeing them thrash his side 3-0 at St James Park.

Jack Baldwin, Luke James and Jack Compton found the net in Devon as Exeter suffered their second loss in three home games.

"Hartlepool did extremely well," Tisdale told the Northern Echo. "They were fantastic, we got it wrong. We weren't even on the same page as them."

The Grecians drop from third to sixth in the League Two table following today's humbling defeat.
