Hartlepool United have announced that manager Ronnie Moore has left the club by mutual consent.
The 63-year-old was appointed by the Pools in December 2014 and went on to steer the club away from relegation.
Twenty-six games into this season, Hartlepool sit 22nd in the League Two table, four points above the relegation zone.
Chairman Gary Coxall said in a statement: "This is an extremely difficult decision but one we feel is right for the football club.
"Ronnie has worked tirelessly to bring success to the club during his time at The Vic and we thank him sincerely for those efforts and wish him well for the future."
The club added that a further announcement will be made in "due course".
