Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship clash between Huddersfield Town and Leicester City at the Galpharm Arena.

Huddersfield Town welcome Leicester City to the Galpharm Arena on Tuesday with both clubs occupying spots in the playoff positions.

Huddersfield have impressed on their return to the Championship, winning three of their last four matches to sit sixth in the table. Meanwhile, Leicester have won their last three matches and sit just one point off the top of the Championship.

The Terriers have won just two of their last six matches at home, but Leicester have lost three of their last six on the road and therefore all avenues seem to point to a stalemate.

The pair last clashed in League One in 2009 when Leicester recorded a 4-2 victory over Huddersfield. Furthermore, the home side have not beaten Leicester since 1996.

Jermaine Beckford is expected to start for the home side against his former club, but Alan Lee is also pushing for a spot alongside Lee Novak. Meanwhile, Leicester are expected to go with the same side that beat Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Recent form:

Huddersfield: DWWWL
Leicester: WLWWW

Possible lineups:

Huddersfield: Smithies; Hunt, Clarke, Gerrard, Dixon; Norwood, Clayton, Southern, Ward; Novak, Beckford

Leicester: Schmeichel; De Laet, Morgan, St Ledger, Konchesky; Drinkwater, Knockaert, Jomes, Marshall; Vardy, Nugent

Sports Mole says: 1-1
