Half-Time Report: Ipswich Town holding Watford

Ipswich Town hold high-flying Watford to a 0-0 draw at the break at Portman Road in the Championship.

Ipswich Town have held high-flying Watford to a 0-0 draw at the break at Portman Road in the Championship this afternoon.

The first chance fell to Watford when Gianni Munari was released by Fernando Forestieri, but the Italian was thwarted by Bartosz Bialkowski.

Daryl Murphy almost opened the scoring for Ipswich but his header was cleared at the back post by a combination of Joel Ekstrand and Juan Paredes.

The Hornets went close to grabbing the first goal when Matej Vydra's low cross narrowly evaded Daniel Pudil on 35 minutes, before Troy Deeney had an effort blocked from around 12 yards out.
