Half-Time Report: Yann Kermorgant overhead kick gives Bournemouth lead over Ipswich Town

Yann Kermorgant scores to give Bournemouth a half-time lead over Ipswich Town.

Yann Kermorgant's acrobatic goal has given Bournemouth the lead over Ipswich Town at half time.

Kermorgant scored from a overhead kick after Matt Ritchie had cannoned the bar with just two minutes gone.

Bournemouth dominated the early stages, and shortly after Ipswich keeper Bartorsz Bialkowski made a fine double save to prevent Marc Pugh and then Ritchie adding to the lead.

The Tractor Boys survived the early barrage and almost equalised when Daryl Murphy headed a corner against the bar, but Bournemouth remained on top for much of the first half.

Christophe Berra went close for Ipswich, but Ritchie and Kermorgant continued to create chances in a open and attacking game.
