Paul Jewell's Ipswich Town have returned to winning ways after a 3-2 away win against relegated Doncaster Rovers.
Ipswich started the brighter of the two sides and were ahead in the tenth minute of the match as Tommy Smith rose highest to head in Lee Martin's accurate corner.
Doncaster failed to assert themselves on the match in the opening exchanges and were further behind in the 29th minute.
Ryan Stevenson colleted the ball before striking a fantastic long range shot past a helpless Gary Woods in the Rovers goal.
However, Doncaster were back in the match just five minutes later as Fabien Robert converted a Simon Gillet cross at the near post.
Ipswich continued to dominate possesion in the second half but Doncaster striker James Hayter could have levelled the game had he found the target with his close range effort.
Substitute Jason Scotland wrapped up the points with ten minutes remaining as he converted a penalty past Woods after the striker was fouled by Habib Beye in the area.
Beye made the score more respectable for the home side in the final minute as he slotted James Coppinger's cross into the back of the net.
