Team News: Ipswich Town welcome back Daryl Murphy for Rotherham United trip

Ipswich Town welcome top-scorer Daryl Murphy back into their starting XI for the trip to Rotherham United after he missed his first league game of the season last week.

Mick McCarthy has recalled top-scorer Daryl Murphy to the Ipswich Town starting lineup for this afternoon's Championship match at Rotherham United.

The Irishman, who is the division's leading marksman, missed his second league game of the season last week against Wigan Athletic, but is back in place of Noel Hunt today.

Murphy's return is the only change made by McCarthy from the side that were held to a goalless draw by the Latics.

Hosts Rotherham, meanwhile, go with the same starting XI that faced Charlton Athletic a week ago, with Conor Sammon and Matt Derbyshire leading the line.

Rotherham: Collin; Richardson, Arnason, Morgan, Fryers; Newton, Green, Smallwood, Pringle; Sammon, Derbyshire
Subs: Thompson, Bowery, Broadfoot, Milsom, Ward, Hammill, Frecklington

Ipswich: Bialkowski; Chambers, Berra, Smith, Mings; Anderson, Skuse, Bru, Tabb; McGoldrick, Murphy
Subs: Kenny, Parr, Clarke, S. Hunt, Bishop, N. Hunt, Sears

Here's what the Sports Mole Sofa had to say about this afternoon's game at the New York Stadium.
