Juventus are considering a bid to sign Cagliari defender Davide Astori, according to reports.
Tuttosport understands that Juve are ready to swoop for Astori if Leonardo Bonucci is suspended for his part in the match-fixing scandal currently sweeping through Italian football.
Bonucci has been charged along with Juve teammate Simone Pepe and could face a ban of three years if found guilty of match-fixing offences.
The 25-year-old Astori plays predominantly as a centre-back and could join Juventus as cover later this summer.
Astori spent a number of years in the youth system at AC Milan but never made a first-team appearance for the Serie A giants.
Juventus have been left in limbo in the wake of yet another match-fixing trial in Italian football, with manager Antonio Conte also under investigation.
