Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has admitted that he is not happy with his lack of first-team football this season, but will not be leaving Italy in January.
The 36-year-old, who won the World Cup in the summer with Germany, has made only five appearances for Stefano Pioli's side this season, despite signing a new contract in the summer.
"I extended my contract with Lazio because I want to keep playing football and because I think I can still help this team," Klose told Germany's Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
"I've regained my condition, but to be back to my best I need to play two or three games in a row, but, if I'm only getting half a game at best, that's not enough. I'm not getting into a rhythm.
"I've played very little and cannot say that I'm happy. I've discussed it with the coach and he knows how I think and what I want."
Klose joined Lazio from Bayern Munich in 2011, and has scored 38 goals in 90 appearances for the Italian side.
