Preview: Norwich City vs. Leeds United

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tuesday's Championship match as two off-colour teams, Norwich and Leeds, do battle at Carrow Road.

Two off-colour Championship teams meet in Tuesday night's match at Carrow Road as Norwich City host Leeds United.

The home side are three games without a win after Saturday's 1-0 loss at Fulham and have now lost their grip on top spot in the table.

The Canaries lie three points behind Watford and defeat at Craven Cottage saw them drop down to fourth in the table.

They have one of the best away records in the league - only Middlesbrough have earned more points on the road - but it is their home form which worries manager Neil Adams most. They haven't won at Carrow Road since the third game of the season, drawing three and losing one.

Adams will be without Wes Hoolahan for the visit of Leeds after the Irishman damaged his ankle ligaments at Fulham. Former Leeds midfielder Jonny Howson could come in and face his old club.

While Norwich are still within touching distance of the summit, Leeds are just as close to the bottom as they are the top.

Since Darko Milanic was appointed at the end of last month, the Whites have gone four games without a win to drop to 14th in the table.

They have also scored just twice in four games and threw away the lead in Friday's Yorkshire derby against Rotherham United.

One positive from the 2-1 defeat at the New York Stadium was the performance of Brazilian youngster Adryan from the bench and he could make his first league start.

It has been four seasons since these two sides met and both games in the 2010-11 Championship term finished as draws.
