Barcelona brush aside Levante

Barcelona score four goals in 16 second-half minutes to beat Levante at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia.

Barcelona have regained their three-point lead at the top of the La Liga table with a conclusive 4-0 win at Levante.

Four goals in 16 second-half minutes gave Tito Villanova's side the three points at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia.

After a goalless first half, the deadlock was broken three minutes after the restart by Lionel Messi, who dinked the ball over Gustavo Munua.

Messi doubled his side's lead five minutes later when he fired in after being picked out in the area by Andres Iniesta.

Iniesta got in on the act soon after as he saw his powerful drive crash in off the crossbar.

Cesc Fabregas then scored Barca's fourth goal in 16 minutes when he rounded Munua before slotting in.

Levante had the chance to pull a goal back from the penalty spot in the final stages following Gerard Pique's handball, but Jose Barkero was denied by Victor Valdes.
