Rudi Garcia slams his Lille players for conceding three goals in the final 10 minutes against Sochaux in Ligue 1 on Friday.

Lille coach Rudi Garcia has criticised his players for throwing away a three-goal lead against Sochaux in Ligue 1 on Friday.

Vincent Nogueira scored twice and Cedric Kante struck once in the final 10 minutes to help Eric Hely's side draw the game 3-3 at Grand Stade Lille Metropole.

"There was a lack of professionalism tonight," Garcia told reporters. "You can't be three goals up in the 70th minute and then end up drawing 3-3 with a side in the relegation zone. But we only have ourselves to blame; when you stop playing, you get punished.

"When you don't score the fourth goal, normally it's fine but we needed certain players out there to get everyone pulling in the right direction. I expected more from my senior players tonight. I feel destroyed and angry, so I'll leave the debriefing until tomorrow morning. We may well have lost more than two points tonight; there are four matches left and I want to keep pushing on - with the players who also want to push on.

"I'll be very attentive to the players' attitudes in training. Sochaux are one of the best sides from set pieces but we committed a series of fouls and played pretty awfully in the last twenty minutes. Unconsciously, we got complacent at 3-0 up. When you stop making the effort, you become an average team again."

Lille are currently fifth in Ligue 1.
