Team News: Liverpool make five changes for Champions League clash with Roma

Liverpool make five changes from the weekend's draw with West Bromwich Albion against Roma in the Champions League.

Liverpool have made five changes from the side which drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion at the weekend for tonight's Champions League showdown against Roma.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson have been drafted into the Reds' defence, replacing Joe Gomez and Alberto Moreno, neither of whom is in the matchday squad.

Dejan Lovren also comes in at the back in place of Ragnar Klavan, who has been included on the bench.

In midfield, manager Jurgen Klopp has handed a start to in-form England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who gets the nod ahead of Georginio Wijnaldum.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino leads the Liverpool attack in place of Danny Ings, who drops to the bench.

Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko leads the attack for the visitors and he is joined in their starting XI by former Sky Blues teammate Aleksandar Kolarov.

Captain Daniele de Rossi takes on a central midfield position alongside Dutch international Kevin Strootman, while Cengiz Under will provide support for Dzeko from a wide position.

Radja Nainggolan, who scored in the 3-0 win over SPAL at the weekend, will also link with the Bosnian from over on the left.
