Sadio Mane returns to the fold for Liverpool's trip to Spartak Moscow in the Champions League.

Sadio Mane has returned to the fold for Liverpool's trip to Spartak Moscow in the Champions League tonight.

The Senegal international has served out a three-match domestic ban for colliding with Manchester City keeper Ederson earlier this month and is straight back in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI this evening.

Overall, Klopp makes three changes from the side that claimed a 3-2 victory at Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday, with Philippe Coutinho dropping back into the midfield and Georginio Wijnaldum dropping down to the bench to make way for Mane, who starts alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah in the frontline.

As expected, Loris Karius replaces Simon Mignolet between the sticks and Trent Alexander-Arnold comes in at right-back for Joe Gomez, who serves a one-game ban for seeing red in the 2-2 draw with Sevilla earlier in the month.

Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren continue their partnership in the heart of the back four, with Alberto Moreno on the left, while Emre Can and Jordan Henderson keep their places in the middle of the park alongside Coutinho.

Options on the bench for Klopp include Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Daniel Sturridge and James Milner.

For the hosts, Massimo Carrera has made three changes from the XI that started the side's 2-2 draw with Anzhi Makhachkala on Saturday, switching to a 5-4-1 for the visit of the Reds.

Luiz Adriano continues to lead the line, while Jano Ananidze and Zelimkhan Bakayev make way as Fernando joins Aleksandr Samedov, Mario Pasalic and Ivelin Popov in midfield.

Georgi Dzhikiya and Ilya Kutepov come into the expanded backline, with Andrey Eshchenko, Serdar Tasci and Salvatore Bocchetti keeping their places and Dmitri Kombarov missing out.

Quincy Promes continues to be absent for the hosts due to a calf injury.

Spartak Moscow: Rebrov; Eschenko, Kutepov, Tasci, Bocchetti, Dzhikiya; Samedov, Fernando, Pasalic, Popov; Adriano
Subs: Selikhov, Petkovic, Bakaev, Samsonov, Melgarejo, Davydov, Pedro Rocha

Liverpool: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Matip, Moreno; Henderson, Can, Coutinho; Salah, Mane, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet, Flanagan, Klavan, Milner, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sturridge
