Report: Liverpool angry with England Under-19s' treatment of Jordan Rossiter

Liverpool are reportedly unhappy with England Under-19s after Jordan Rossiter reported back injured after playing three full 90-minute games in the space of five days.

Liverpool have reportedly been left angered by England Under-19s' recent treatment of midfielder Jordan Rossiter.

The 18-year-old returned to Merseyside with a hamstring injury after playing the full 90 minutes in three youth internationals in the space of five days.

According to PA, Liverpool are unhappy that Rossiter, who has made three first-team appearances this season for the Reds, was the only player to play all 270 minutes.

Rossiter will therefore not be part of Jurgen Klopp's squad for tomorrow's Premier League lunchtime kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur.

New Reds boss Klopp also saw other Englishmen Joe Gomez and Danny Ings suffer season-ending cruciate knee ligament injuries over the international break.
