Report: Lazar Markovic out for up to three weeks

Lazar Markovic will be missing for Liverpool for up to three weeks after picking up an injury while playing for Serbia, according to reports

Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic will be out for up to three weeks after suffering an injury while on international duty, according to reports.

The 20-year-old started Serbia's Euro 2016 qualifying draw with Armenia last night, but lasted just 25 minutes before being substituted after picking up a knock.

Serbian website butasport.rs has suggested that Markovic will not play again this month as he joins the lengthy injury list at Anfield.

Dejan Lovren also faces a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury while training with Croatia.
