Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates has expressed his desire to make his Anfield debut.
Coates, 21, joined the Reds in August but has yet to take to the field in front of the Kop, with his four appearances for the club so far coming away from home.
The Uruguay international is currently behind Martin Skrtel, Daniel Agger and Jamie Carragher in the pecking order at Anfield but is looking forward to the challenge of breaking into the first team.
"I have only played away from home so far and it would be very nice to play at Anfield," Coates told LFC Magazine.
"You can see the passion there is in the crowd. You can see it sitting on the bench but it would be much nicer to see it playing on the field.
"It hasn't really come as a surprise to me because I had already heard of the passion that Liverpool fans had but being told about something and then seeing it for yourself first hand are two different things."
Coates was part of Uruguay's successful 2011 Copa America campaign, being named Best Young Player in the process.
