Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers reveals his frustration at the incorrect decision to rule out a goal by Luis Suarez during the Merseyside derby.

Brendan Rodgers has expressed his unhappiness at the decision to rule out Luis Suarez's late goal during today's Merseyside derby.

The Liverpool frontman shot into roof of the net in the final minute of stoppage time for what he thought was the winning goal. However, the Uruguayan was flagged offside as he turned to celebrate.

Replays of the incident though have shown that Suarez was onside when the ball was knocked on to him.

"The goal at the end was clearly a goal and we are disappointed not to get it," Rodgers told BBC Sport. "I think the linesman gave it but everyone in the ground thought it was a goal. That should have been a goal and an outstanding hat-trick for Luis Suarez."

The matched ended in a 2-2 draw.
