The FA will make a decision on whether to take action against Luis Suarez today (Wednesday) after the player was accused of making an offensive gesture towards Fulham fans.
Officials confirmed that they were looking into the matter overnight, and a decision is expected this morning.
The striker could be charged with misconduct for being pictured apparently making a gesture at Fulham fans on Monday.
Suarez claims that he was provoked by Craven Cottage supporters, but if charged he could face a fine or a two to three game ban.
The Uruguay international is also due to appear before the FA in the next fortnight after he was charged for making an alleged racial slur towards Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
