Roberto Mancini: Liverpool move Mario Balotelli's "last chance"

Galatasaray boss Roberto Mancini believes that Mario Balotelli's Liverpool move is the Italy international's "last chance".

Galatasaray boss Roberto Mancini has claimed that Mario Balotelli's move to Liverpool is the Italian's "last chance" to prove himself as a world-class player.

The pair worked together at both Inter Milan and Manchester City and had several well-publicised spats before Balotelli was sold to AC Milan in January 2013.

"Mario is a good guy but he is aware that Liverpool is probably his final opportunity to prove what he can do on the pitch. It's his last chance," Mancini told reporters.

"I often talk to him via text message but only he can help himself now. He told me that he wants to and must score goals for Liverpool."

Balotelli moved to Anfield for around £16m in August.
