Luis Suarez has left Brazil and has returned to Uruguay after receiving a nine-match ban from FIFA for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
Suarez's lawyer has insisted that he will take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport if necessary as Suarez's nine-match ban begins with Uruguay's last-16 clash with Colombia this Saturday.
"The player of course, Luis, is very upset - he is very upset about the situation," explained Wilmar Valdez, president of Uruguay's Football Association.
"Right now he is looking into it with his family, if he should travel back to Uruguay, and in this case we are going to support him in everything."
Suarez won't be able to play club football until October 26, making him unavailable for Liverpool's opening nine Premier League and three Champions League games.
