Spanish striker Iago Aspas has claimed that he is "excited" to begin his Liverpool career.
The 25-year-old is expected to be officially announced as a Reds player in the next few days after completing a medical at the club's Melwood training ground on Tuesday.
"I'm excited, but I prefer not to say anything until it becomes an official agreement between the clubs," ESPN quotes Aspas as saying.
Aspas, who netted 12 goals last season for Celta Vigo, is thought to have cost the Merseyside outfit £7.7m.
