Fabio Borini joins Liverpool pre-season tour

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini travels with the squad for their pre-season tour of the United States despite Sunderland agreeing a fee with the Reds for him.

Fabio Borini has traveled with Liverpool ahead of their pre-season tour of the United States, despite Sunderland agreeing a fee to buy the striker.

The Black Cats announced that they had agreed terms with the Anfield side for the 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan at the Stadium of Light, earlier this weekend.

However, the 23-year-old was pictured boarding a flight with Brendan Rodgers's squad as they headed to America earlier today, casting doubt over his move.

It is believed that Sunderland have offered around £14m for the Italian, who joined Liverpool in 2012.
