Liverpool full-back Jon Flanagan has officially signed a new long-term contract at his boyhood club.
The 23-year-old has been part of the Merseyside outfit since 2004, but his senior career suffered a setback in 2014 because of injury.
Flanagan recently returned to first-team action following 20 months on the treatment table and has now extended his stay at Anfield.
"It's brilliant - it's something I've always wanted to do since I was a child," Flanagan told the club's official website.
"I think this is my third professional contract with Liverpool now, so I'm really happy.
"I've been through a lot in the last two years with the injury, and maybe a few people thought my future was in doubt, but I've worked hard and this is a bonus at the end of it."
Flanagan made his senior debut in 2011.
