Liverpool owner John W Henry has insisted that striker Luis Suarez will not be sold this summer.
Suarez has claimed that the club promised to let him leave for a Champions League team this year and insisted that they are breaching a contract agreement.
"We have no intention of selling one of the best players in the world to our rivals," Henry told reporters. "We like to buy stuff, not sell.
"Luis Suarez is very much a Liverpool player, there is no real value in discussing it unless someone comes close to the valuation.
"This is a football club that stood has by him in some of the darkest moments of his career."
Suarez also claimed that he would take the case to a Premier League tribunal if he needs to.
