Nice interested in Mario Balotelli move

Nice manager Lucien Favre hints that he is open to signing Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli this summer.

Ligue 1 side Nice have hinted that they could make a move for out-of-favour Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli has been on the search for a new club throughout the summer after being told by manager Jurgen Klopp that he is surplus to requirements at Anfield.

The Italian has been linked with a host of clubs from a number of different countries, and Nice are the latest to throw their hat into the ring.

"I don't know him personally, but if he runs and wants to help the youngsters, then why not?" Nice boss Lucien Favre told a press conference.

"If he doesn't want to run, then there's no way he'll come here."

Swiss side FC Sion also recently declared their interest in signing the 26-year-old.
