Report: Alberto Moreno to Liverpool off

A report claims that Liverpool have pulled the plug on a deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.

Liverpool have reportedly pulled the plug on a deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.

The 21-year-old, who was part of Spain's initial 30-man squad for the World Cup this summer, has long been linked with a move to Anfield.

The deal has reportedly been close to going though, with Liverpool attacker Suso due to head the other way on loan.

However, according to El Correa, the two clubs are still some way apart in terms of price, with Sevilla demanding a figure in the region of £20m for the full-back.

Moreno is widely regarded as one of the most exciting left-sided players in European football.
